Sloth Rescue and Release Protocol at the Jaguar Rescue Center

Sloth Rescue and Release Protocol at the Jaguar Rescue Center

Since our creation in 2008 the principle objective of the Jaguar Rescue Center is to help all the animals that arrive at our facility hurt, sick and orphaned to be able to be reintroduced to their natural habitat.
Liberating a sloth is long-term process and takes patience, experience and resources. We are especially proud of the results obtained in juvenile sloths, who were only a few months old and grew up in the Center that have been successfully liberated back into the primary forest of La Ceiba.

We have prepared a video about our work to share with you all. Thank you for the support of all of our visitors, donors and sympathizers, it is because of you we can return these marvelous and defenseless creatures back to their natural habitat.
