As more and more people move to the Caribbean South, the threat of deforestation and habitat loss becomes increasingly significant.

We launched our "Fronteras de Paz" project, which is part of our 2030 agenda.

Unfortunately, we set a new record this month by saving 100 animals. We have stated that in the last ten years, we have never received this many animals in a single month.

The Jaguar Rescue Center continues to expand, and we were able to complete numerous projects thanks to the help and donations we received from the La Ceiba Primary Forest Foundation in 2022.

To prevent animals from being electrocuted, we have our program Shock-Free Zone, which we have run in collaboration with the Grupo ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad) for the past 12 years.

We are happy to announce that we were able to reunite this mother and baby 3-fingered sloths (Bradypus variegatus).

On May 12 we started the campaign “Drive for Life” where the goal was to raise $15,000 to be able to buy a “new” second-hand truck.

The sloth became the 16 national symbol here in Costa Rica.
