June was a fantastic month of releases. Knowing that the animals, which we worked hard to rehabilitate, are back in their own environment makes all the difficulties we encountered worthwhile!

The two are now back where they both belong, happy day! A big thank you to SINAC and Cahuita National Park for letting us release them in this incredible park.

We are proud to announce that this week the JRC and ICE closed an agreement for the Shock Free Zone campaign. Together we have developed a map of the Caribe Sur area with the powerlines that are already insulated and the ones that aren’t. Our goal is to make every powerline in this map safe for the wild animals.

These three baby raccoons were rescued after being orphaned. They were found in a house where the ceiling collapsed and their mother was found dead under the wreckage. Do you know what to do when you find baby raccoons and the mom isn’t near?
