Brought by the coast guards; this hawksbill sea turtle came very weakly and suffers from a harpoon wound in her shell. Also, she had wounds in her fins because the people who harpooned her tied them, so she couldn´t move.

On May 12 we started the campaign “Drive for Life” where the goal was to raise $15,000 to be able to buy a “new” second-hand truck.

On June 29 this Hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) was brought to the JRC from Cieneguita. This turtle was confiscated by the coast guards, who also helped to transport it to the JRC.
